Cookies That Eat Us

You know those moments when you look back and watch your family? And you just watch everyone laugh and talk and be together all happy and stuff? Like those movies? Yeah. I just had that moment. And the love that overcame me shocked me. I know I love my family. I just never realized how much I love them.

So for the next few days, I'm going to write a little bit about each of my family members.

My little brother has a thing for making cookies bigger than my face. But they are soooooo good, I forgive him for the extra calories. =D Sometimes I can't believe that he's going to be 16 next year. It just blows me away. He's the most amazing brother you can get. Hands down. The BEST LITTLE BROTHER EVER! You can argue all you want, but you won't win. I love  how ambitious he is to help out, and be there when you really need him. I love how he already has his eyes focused on what he really wants to do in his life. Even though I honestly can't see my silly, playful, little brother in the Coast Guard. But then, I can. 2 years. I have 2 years to fill of us enjoying each other's company. And it's going to be the fastest 2 years ever. I'm seriously going to miss him. When he's gone for just one night at a friends house, I miss him. So him being gone 4 years....that's gonna be rough. And it's not like he's going to be a few hours away. No. It's New London, Connecticut. Gosh. It's so far away. I've even "joked" around about following him there. But, that didn't go over well. ;) He's determined to get away from his attached big sister. Not that I can blame him. I'm going to fully appreciate the latest technology when he leaves.

Love you, Jonah! Thanks for always being there for me!
